Not much hype around WrestleMania this year.

Ffs, pat mcafee has been rolled out with the begging bowl. He was on smack down last Friday going on about how he personally made sure of a 25% discount for Saturday night’s mania. Of course they’re dressing it up as part of a story with orton but it was beyond sad.

I started watching again since around the start of march and there’s a few good storylines happening but the two night mania thing is ridiculous. Mania is supposed to getting there on your merits as a sports entertainer (or nepotism 🙃) but now they just roll everyone out on the conveyor belt to claw in the cash.

Funny time for Tko who own the UFC and WWE. The most recent UFC had a lot of empty seats , which is very rare.

Think they’ve hit their limit in terms of what fans will pay for seats .

wwe were in copenhagen in january on the european tour. i had thought about bringing two, maybe three, of the children as a late christmas present but the price of tickets was eye watering. i think they were looking for about €200ish à head for normal enough seats. ringside and along the ramp were nearly €500 à pop.

the youngest lad (6) is really into it now and can’t wait for mania. he thought the rumble was the greatest thing he ever saw. i’ll probably watch mania om my own first like a saddo before spending eight hours with the youngest fielding questions and finishers and listening to who’s the best.*

* it’s la knight and iyo sky.

I cannot abide LA Knight...I just don't like him and i don't know why.
There's a wee show out the road on Saturday and i normally brought the kids..., they are all too cool for it now... I kinda want to go as I enjoy them... but I can't go on my own.

I binge watched the Hogan Netflix documentary on a flight recently. I think it would have been better as a Louis Theroux style following him around structure but it's hard not to initially feel sorry for him. Then he fucking doubles down on his more recent woes.
There's still a nostalgic factor and the match vs The Rock is still surreal

Fascinating guy.

Amazing Vince always portrayed him as bad guy when it was the opposite, Ted was a gent seemingly and Vince……well ……is under investigation for sex crimes.
Haha.

Vince had some nerve. Read a book a while back about how he destroyed the territories, but when someone had the nerve to take him on, he was portraying it as a poor little baby face business man being hounded out of existence by a billionaire.
