Another great trade for the Bruins at the deadline - Bertuzzi is a perfect addition. This Bruins team is loaded!

They are going for it big time this season!
Pasta signing an extension is another great result.
Fastest team ever to 100 pts!
Let's hope this season gets the finish it deserves come June.

Start of the playoffs.
My Boston Bruins set the pace in the regular season and are strong favourites to lift Stanley.
They broke the record for most regular season wins (65) and points (135) and play the Florida Panthers in round one.

Strange first game for the Bruins.
No Bergeron and they played pretty poor in the first two periods and yet they still beat Florida handily.
Bruins can play much better and I'm not sure the Panthers can.
Favourite part of the game was Bertuzzi taking the Panthers player's stick!

Across the league I watched a fantastic game one between LA and Edmonton - that series is going to be a good one and I think it will go to 7 games.

The Maple Leafs shat the bed in their first game and also lost their discipline. However, if Hedman and Cernak are out for some time then I can see them still taking that series.
