Official NFL thread 2026/27

As a Pats fan it's hard to know whether to be optimistic or not.
They made the SB last season but largely thanks to a ridiculously easy regular season schedule and some huge chunks of luck like Bo Nix getting injured in the playoffs.
Drake May was lost in the SB but I think the potential is there.
It'll be interesting to see how AJ gets on and also if Vrable's shenanigans with yer wan affects his influence on the team.

I love this time of year, nice weather with the early tinges of autumn in the air and the NFL on the horizon.

Yes looking forward to it aswell, it was'nt long coming around from the Superbowl, college gsmes aswell so no shortage of it coming up, might head up for the game in Dublin at the end of the month, God Bless 🏈😅
 
As a Broncos fan there's a lot to be optimistic about, which means it won't end well.

As an eagles fan I’m confident enough but with a new OC putting a new offense in, the first couple of week might be rough. The defense is getting good feedback from camp.

Lane Johnson has said that this is likely his last year which isn’t a shock but still he’s one of the best players on the team. Thankfully the O line is healthy unlike last season which Cam Jurgens and Landon Dickerson were banged up.

And then we have Jalen Hurts who I’m not the biggest fan of. He can do amazing things but there are times when I wonder what the hell he is doing.

Also, @Cormac good luck with AJ. It’ll go fine the first few weeks and when he isn’t getting the ball thrown to him, then you’ll have fun.
