Fu.

Just because scumbags like RM do this doesn't mean professional referee's are above criticism.

That's up there with any criticism of Israel is anti semitic.
Honestly, stfu, you moron.

The pile-on, death threats, complete over the top vitriol we see all the time against sporting officials has absolutely nothing to do, and no comparison, to what's going on in the middle east.

Really stupid comment.

Criticism would be fine, if it were that. But sports fans, and particularly Soccer fans and ex-players, are completely incapable of that.

The Lewis-Skelly sending off at Wolves was the best case in point there. Should probably have just been a yellow, for sure, but you had complete morons of ex-players and everybody else saying it was the worst decision they had ever seen, which was miles over the top.

Do you even know what an anology is, moron?

VAR has only made the lives of officials worse, because the scrutiny is even greater now. They so often have to make decisions where they're damned whether they decide one way, or the other.
That's a really good point.

However refs and clubs seem like they want to continue with it, which is so disconnected from what most fans want, it's untrue.

Mike Dean's comment that it doesn't matter how long it takes once the decision is right shows how far that disconnect is.

Sad to say, I can't see them getting rid of it ever, despite it adding nothing to the enjoyment of the game and what's worse it often takes away from the enjoyment.

Oh team A is gaining momentum and well on top for the last ten minutes. Let's have a 5 minute break to decide their strikers goal was a public hair offside. That'll learn 'em.

🤔
"Real" means royal and not king.
Meath are known as "The Royal County", aren't they? 😉
King Alfonso XIII gave them the name and crown in their crest when he gave them royal patronage. Is Meath's official name Royal Meath? Let it ago old man, you can deny it all you want but Madrid will always be the club of the royal family

Jesus wept and well he might.
El Rey Felipe's favourite team is Atletico Madrid.
Various clubs in Spain such as Sociedad, Betis, Zaragoza, Oviedo and Mallorca have Real in their name. I've explained this to you before. I hope it sinks in this time.
Now shut up you tart! 😉
