Healy on his ass in a pileup crash with 6km to go - looks OK though.

Van Aert doing his share on the front. Last time up the Mur, here we go - Remco, Pog and Jonas gone clear

Ben unlucky to be in that crash prob cost him 1 min so now he is down to 11th at 3.55, you'd expect him to fall away in the mountains. Dunbar lost time today (after yesterday's big ride ) now 33rd at 16.29-disappointing as he would presumably be hoping for better than that but he is just ahead of Kuss & Simon Yates showing how tough this is, today he finished with Thomas who obviously blew up at the end after being in the breakaway (he is 39!).

Eddie lost over 7 mins today because of the crash. Was going pretty well but for that.

Slow day-peleton tipping away at 30 kmph, no breakaway so far so we get some harmless Munster v Leinster banter between Kelly and Craig Doyle who has really mastered the Des Lynham/Terry Wogan / Irish Blarney on British telly sport.
Interesting point one of the commentators (Larry-still a pro, rode the Giro last year) making that some riders will deliberately lose GC time so the leading teams would then allow them go in the breakaway.

Healy was surely at that craic earlier in the week. TT is the ideal opportunity to let things slide a bit.
