Fantastic day yesterday in the Lagos de Covadonga. Great stories all round. From the winner to Roglic and co to O'Connor. Such a shame about Wout though. Dominating the points and the polka dot.

I haven't looked in too much detail at the remaining stages, but Ben O C's chances of defending 6 seconds are vanishingly thin. Deserves to get on the podium I think.

What in the name of God was Landa's team thinking? Never seen such a joke since radios were introduced. Mikel L was in 5th, but he lost touch with GC leaders with about 40k to go. The team had a lad in the GC group and instead of telling him to wait for their leader, they leave him in the other group for about 10 mins. The gap goes out to 2 mins. Landa is fooked trying to drive his group on his tod. Eventually they send the other lad back. Too late. BUT it gets worse. They have Catteneo way up the road with the first group with a decent chance of a stage win. They're 10 mins, ten fucking minutes!?! ahead of ML. What does the DS do? He tells him to stop to help his leader!!! What da fuq?? At this stage the gap was 3 mins from Lands to his direct rivals and he had dropped from 5th overall to about 9th. Seemingly Catteneo was spitting fire when he was ordered to stop. Never ever seen such mismanagement.

These Kern Pharma (geddit?) must have found a bag of yokes down the back of the couch. They hadn't won a bloody scrap and now they're on for their 3rd stage win.

Ah it's getting boring now! I fecking missed it again, can't believe it. Fair play, great riding. The belief he'll take from this should be immense.
