I think the following 2 years had better squads but still out of this group I would expect Browne, O Callaghan, O Donoghue, Meaney, Meade, Lee, Kingston, Hayes, O Halloran, Dooling to push on. I might be wrong but worryingly a few names on this squad seem to have disappeared off the radar and are not even prominent at club level

Mark Coleman , Darragh Fitzgibbon , Chris O Leary , Tim O Mahony , David Griffin added to the above list if properly coached we could have a very good u21 side next year of course all others in Munster will be good too.

And that will only happen if they are with the senior panel. I know from talking to lads that Senior team, colleges and club matches are major disruption at this age group and lads are never together.. If they could all be on senior panel it guarantees that they are training every week and not at every call and pulled and dragged from pillar to post. I know a lad last year that played colleges hurling, senior club hurling and football. His club done well in U21 football champ , was in at a number of senior sessions and also involved with Cork Inters and also on Cork 21 hurling. He said he barely got to 10 sessions all year.. How can you coach/improve that.

21 is a broken grade because there is only 1 match waiting for 6 months.
