The FAI have come down hard on Ringmahon Rangers for not fulfilling their FAI Cup fixture with Bohemians. Absolutely nobody has come out well from this shambolic episode.

- A five-year ban from participating in the Club Orange Men’s FAI Senior Cup
- A three-year ban from participating in the FAI Intermediate Cup
- Monetary fine of €5,000.

Thats harsh on 1st glance and think it will be appealed the ban if any should I think apply only to the competition that the fixture issue related to.

That was an ill thought out fixture by the FAI. Amazing how they bent over backwards to facilitate the game with Israel but came down hard on the minnows of local football.

Bunch of idiots running that organisation.
