Garda decided the ends afaik. Rovers have a big support in ringsend and that's the north side of the stadium so they decided since the ccfc support would be coming from central dublin on train and bus it was the best option

Good pubs close by as well ,Paddy cullans and the horse show pub only 5 mins from the aviva .
