I was chatting to someone last night about ticket prices.

€25 to see this lot play at home against Drogs on a Monday night. That is absolutely insane - the most expensive home ticket in the league

Couldn't agree more regarding the ridiculousness of the pricing. As soon as the game was announced I asked a pal if we and our kids might think about getting on a corporate table as a treat. He made enquiries and said that they were looking for more than it would cost to attend a corporate for a Scottish Cup Final!!

This for a pre-season friendly when there's no indication of even what the lineups might be. Presumably it'll be used as KT's first run out after his return but in a lot of cases over the years the squads for these games are peppered with peripheral players.

He said both clubs are being paid a flat fee and it's the GAA are running the event as a fundraiser for Pairc Ui Caoimh.

I'm a fan of Cork GAA too but that's taking the piss imho
