I'm not trying to be overly critical but signing Maguire was nuts.

He's had 4 goals in his previous 3 seasons before rejoining City. 2 in English football 3rd tier.

For what they are rumoured to be paying him you could have 2 fellas who at least might be available.

Injuries happen but bringing him back was just a punt that didn't make a whole pile of sense.

Shocking decision wasting a lot of the budget on this.

he should probably have only been signed on a pay as you play deal given his record, but understandably he probably would have turned down such an offer... anyway he's back now and city need him so a clean run of games and a few goals then all will be forgiven.
