In fairness the situation with Maguire was well flagged at the time. They knew the risks there. I'd agree it was a bad gamble.
At the moment they have Maguire, Keating, Bolger, Dijksteel, Couto and Mbeng all out injured.
It's a big ask for a newly promoted squad to be competitive with those lads missing.
I think the way they're dropping points by conceding late is frustrating supporters more than anything, where it's probably a good sign they're competitive enough to be in that position in games at the moment given the injury list.
Get a few lads back and see what happens. They have to keep plugging away.
