Official Cork City FC/LOI thread!

We need just to plsssssss stay up If so I’ll renew our season tickets If not I’m taking a sabbatical from CCFC Couldn’t watch them diwn in the first division again In or about Turbers cross since a small boy, Cork Celtic was my team Then Ccfc even when. I was gone for decades

I was talking to a guy last night and he made a fair point.

There should he no safety net for a team that has an awful season and finishes second bottom of the table, while a team in the first division has a fantastic season and if they lose the playoff they end up with nothing. It's like a reward for failure.

Since the season started many city fans have been talking about the playoff being the target in our first season back. Could this safety net have crept into the minds of the players too? You'd imagine there'd be more urgency on and off the pitch if 9th spot meant automatic relegation.

Thoughts?

I tried though 😊 My young fella Heavy Ccfc fan Both men n women In fact he’s normally on the pitch at every math Home n away And women’s training sessions Told me today he’s gutted, apathy has set in,totally dismayed and fiches off with the team n Bucks

I do think that our location is a hindrance, both in terms of costs and fitness.

If you play for a club in Louth or Dublin, which is essentially half the league, then the majority or your games are handy out.

Obviously Derry and Sligo have similar issues but they don't have the instability that we had after coming up from the first division.

Do our lads still even stay in a hotel when they play in Sligo or Derry?

One positive about getting relegated would be the away ties against Harps. My favorite away day/weekend after Sligo.
