Chiefs won comfortably to secure no.1 seed in the AFC and a bye in the playoffs.

Jags overcame Titans last night due largely to a pick 6 in the 4th quarter. Saw most of the first half live and caught the highlights of the 2nd half this morning. Titans will be kicking themselves. Jags at home to either Chargers or Ravens next week. Could upset either. Lawrence is developing into a talent at QB.

AFC playoff picture now set after the early window of games;

Wildcard Round:
Buffalo v Miami
Cincinnati v Baltimore
Jacksonville v LA Chargers

Kansas City host the lowest seed that comes through in the Divisional Round

NFC playoff picture will be finalised between 4am and 5am tomorrow once the Green Bay-Detroit game finishes

The NFC East battle is turning into a damp squib. Philly are winning and Dallas were underwhelming in the first half.

The 49ers look to be Philly's biggest opponent in the playoffs, but the fitness of Hurts and Lane Johnson could be the deciding factors in any potential matchup between the two.

Potential wildcard round in the NFC as it stands:

49ers v Seattle (although Seattle are losing at HT, leaving the door open for Detroit and Green Bay if they lose)
Minnesota v NY Giants (this matchup is pretty much guaranteed at this stage)
Tampa Bay v Dallas (this matchup is pretty much guaranteed at this stage)

There was a bit of drama in the late games last night. Seattle missed a last-second field goal in regulation but bounced back to pip the Rams in overtime. Then Green Bay got mugged by Detroit late in the 4th quarter and Rodgers threw an intercept with possibly his final play at Lambeau, meaning Seattle squeezed into the playoffs.
