Stayed here for 5 days last November. It's central to everything especially the theatres. Whilst speaking to one of the staff there, he said the best way to get a good deal is to contact the hotel directly by e-mail and negotiate. They have so many rooms to fill they are always willing to do a deal.
The New Yorker hotel....great location on 34th st at 8th Avenue,next to Penn st station and across from Madison Square garden,you have times square,empire state etc within a 10 min walk
I stayed in the London NYC most recently. Great ol spot, close to Central Park and not far from Times Square.
Found them on one of those "secret hotel" deals.
I’d stay somewhere in Hell’s Kitchen using AirBnB if I were you. It’s close to Port Authority and bang on next to Times Square. Easy access to downtown Manhattan using subway as well. Plenty of pubs in the area as well and broadway shows close by.. I am in NY at least once a year at least and Hell’s Kitchen with AirBnBb is the way to go.
