Fairly sure it was stated some time ago that UCC were going to sell the property for precisely what they’d (back then over-) paid for it

The area looks awful already, so a minecraft building wouldn't do it any harm.

Similar to that "Keynes Centre" on South Mall across from the Imperial. Wtf was that exactly? I've yet to find someone who knows.

The Keynes Centre was/is run by Professor Connell M. Fanning (see Google Scholar for his publications). He was head of UCC's esteemed Economics department up to about ten years ago.
