It really is. You won't see any debates about this, just alot of screaming.
This case relates to quotas. If for example an organisation has a 9 member board and it is mandated that 2 of them are women, this ruling means that for the quota to be met the two female members must biologically be female.
It is specifically designed to stop someone using a gender recognition cert to gain an unfair advantage, or an organisation getting men to take out a gender recognition cert to meet a quota.
It's like the situation in soccer where since Brexit certsin EU countries have quotas as to how many non EU players they can have on the pitch at any one time. Jude Bellingham (through his Irish father) has recently got an Irish passport so for quota purposes he is an EU national and Real.Madrid can discount him when calculating player elegibility.
Transwomen are still protected under the equality act, but are a different category, not a sub category.
So
'Black Women are Women'
'Gay Women are Women'
'Trans Women are Transwomen'
And this means anything that is 'Women Only' cannot be compelled under the Equality Act to accept Biological Males who identify as Women. It doesn't mean that they are automatically denied access, but common sense can dictate.
So that bearded chap in the North of England who hangs out in the female changing rooms will be fucked out, and men who insist on joining women only dating apps can be refused
