My good friend Graham Linehan.

Na m8, I just don't share your hysterical opinions about trans people.

But I do think it's good that we seek to improve through lives of people if they're part of a minority group. And I think the science is out on this too.

I don't have all the answers but claiming that they're all part of a cult with a warped ideology isn't helpful either.

Or worse, claiming they're all pedophiles like that fucking clown GreedY did.

Nah, kids in primary school should not be taught gender ideology as part of the curriculum.

They're kids and they will believe whatever you tell them. Telling them that you can change your sex as easily as a pair of trousers is going to cause a multitude of problems just like we have seen in other jurisdictions.

You've seen widescale institutional capture on this issue with organisations like TENI having major input into areas like education, health, prisons and sport . Under the umbrella of inclusion you're seeing a load of loopy policy enacted that no majority voted for.

The UK Supreme court ruling showed that our neighbours have come to their senses somewhat. I fear we're going to take a bit longer to get there.

I don't deny for a second that the question of gender and gender expression is both complex and deeply personal for a lot of people but biologically, when speaking about sex, and not gender things are significantly more objective
That's the big problem. A lot of people are terrified that our ideas of gender are about to be pulled down. Transgender, and more specifically transsexual people are just at the coalface. They experience it acutely.

Go back to the freedom of the 60s and 70s in London, Bowie being the highlight example, and you see people questioning the borders of gender. Dial on 50 years and you see more generations, through years of filtration, copping onto the idea of gender ideology where "Men are Men!!!" etc. being total bollocks, so they retreat to sex.

There's a mix among the younger people of people who don't believe in gender roles (terrifying to some, Men Are Men!!!) and others who do better with cross sex hormones, etc. And people's bodies being literally against their mind is fucking horrifying and scary to people who don't realise how complex the world is. How complex people are. And how complex they themselves are, even within themselves. Imagine being told your literal body is wrong for who you are. People can't fathom it, so they lash out at people who do try to come to terms with it and understand it.

Bollix.
David Bowie was not transgender; he was a cisgender man who explored and blurred the boundaries of gender expression through his performance art and personas, not by identifying as a different gender. While he identified as gay and bisexual at different points in his career, he ultimately married women, and the public perception of his fluid expression was more about challenging societal norms than about being a transgender person.

Using Bowie as some kind of poster boy or representative for transgenderisim is ridiculous.

I don't understand your post nor do I see how it relates in any way to mine.

If you want to make a point about London in the 60s or heteronormative "traditional" gender expression such as "men are men" knock yourself out but keep me out of it.

You may not read much in the sports forum but I have been consistent on my views and am honestly truly sick of the discourse that surrounds this matter
