I tend to distil my information from a variety of sources including social media and various journalists in electronic media. Newspapers tend to be yesterday's news even today.
Amongst other things I am sceptical of the latest type of reportage much loved in the Mainstream Media (MSM) featuring reports with people speaking in foreign language (such as German or French) with an English voice speaking over it. The german voice could be speaking about the price of fish on the dark side of the moon, while the English speaking voice could be speaking about politics in west Cork or whatever the media source wanted us to believe. As though to have the foreign language voice in the background might lend more credibility to the spin
