How does someone remember that they saw something being buried that was suspicious near an infamous convicted rapist and abductor home 27 years later.

Is it specifically new info or something that was buried in an old case file or a tip off not followed up at the time, that the cold case team uncovered recently?

He could have had access to a JCB, in rural parts burying rubbish in a field with one wouldn't be that unusual, as backward as it seems. Dumping disused cars in fields was also a common practice, maybe it still is.

I reckon it could be that someone knew about this dumping/burying incident and has since died but had told another person who now feels that they can safely come forward with the information.
