Micheal Jackson Prog on BBC2 - Savage..

i'm astonished... such talent he had - pity about the lack of a normal life

but you know - if thats your opinion.. fair enough..

That was the 'Dangerous' concert from Buharest, 1992. The preceding documentary was really good. The Beeb went to Gary, Indiana for a lot of the footage. The place where the Jacksons played their first ever show (Lucky's) is being dismantled, and the bricks are being sold online (if a buyer for the venue isn't found soon).

It's baffling how the average punter is able to separate Jackson's art from his misdeeds. In a way that the same split mindset doesn't happen with other cancelled figures.

There's a biopic, several stage shows and his music is still played on the radio.

The same punters would burn the Opera House down if someone put on "Gary: A Glittering Career" or "Now. Then. How's About Then? The Jimmy Savile Story".

They cover that in the end of the documentary.
In short after his death he became an amazing asset to exploit for lots of money so it doesnt pay to cancel him.

Triumph the Insult Dog showed up at a crowd of people supporting Jackson during one of his trials.

He asked one of them:

“On a scale of one to ten, how old is Michael Jackson’s current companion?”

The person did laugh.
