'Michael Jackson fan' syndrome

Did they learn anything from Robocop?

What part of weird abnormal possibly obsessed man do you not understand? There is anomalies of these kind of people all over.

I remember where I grew up there was the ' Good News Caravan'.
This guy took it upon himself to park a little caravan up and invite kids into it. Had a guitar and a board where he stuck velcro symbols and things to tell a story about Jesus etc. He sang songs and engaged with us about doing good, and basically preaching ' The Good Word'.

One day the parents ( understandably so) berated him for doing what he was doing. Called him all manner of insults and incited all us kids to throw the freshly cut grass of the green at him. Shouting and roaring but actually not knowing the truth.

Truth is that man never did anything to any of us. We enjoyed the stories and had fun with the games and the singing. All those kids ( except me and my friend) followed the parents lead in treating this man like he was some monster preying on kids. It wasn't true. I was there. I guess he just had something else going on whereby he wanted to engage with children. Be like Jesus or something.

Point being there are some weird obsessed people out there that are harmless. And yes there are some that are not harmless.

I suspect MJ may have been harmless. Unfortunately he lived in World where he could well have been exploited. That's a fact because nobody really knows. I'm not a particular fan of Michael Jackson btw. I just get tired of all the unsubstantiated hate.

Maybe someday we will find better way to get to a truth. I wouldn't be holding my breath though.
Now there's a flashback. We used give him some doing when he came to our estate. I remember once a few of us went into the caravan pretending to be interested, then a few others started shaking it with us going "It's the end of the world, save us, save us". He never lasted long tbh. The general view among the parents was "Would ye ever leave the poor man alone".

Not really comparable to MJ though was he?
