Men & Women

"Ms Murphy's comments come after the Minister of State for Special Education and Inclusion, Josepha Madigan, called for an end to gendered titles and language, such as 'spokesman' and 'chairman'.

Speaking on the same programme, Ms Madigan said the Kerryman is a "great independent newspaper" and while it is not up to her to tell media what to do, we should interrogate the words we use in our daily lives and see if they create an unconscious bias."

FFS does Josepha Madigan have nothing better to do with her time as a Minister during a pandemic than to worry about The Kerryman being called The Kerryman

Why bother with Mr, Mrs, Mz at all. To extend this PCism gone nuts "From now on EVERYBODY must be called Citizen"

Chillax comrade.

Right a question for the men here. If you’re introduced to a group of people and the man offers his hand to shake it and you oblige.

Do you then shake the hand of any women in the group also? I always feel weird shaking a woman’s hand because for me it’s always been more of a man to man thing. Unless it’s a job interview of course or a woman extends her hand first.
