Changed name now I think, Bonnington. Stayed there years ago, load of asylum lads living there also.
Still haven't found the tragic Icelandic fella that went missing after walking out of there a few years ago. Strange case.

Stayed there before an All Ireland about 20 years ago. Went out for a few pints and came back after closing time to be met by a very unhappy wedding party as the bar had closed at 12:30. We were there again a year or two later and again a wedding party were complaining of the same issue.

Was that the Icelandic poker player?

I would be too if closed at 12.30 on my wedding. There'd have been a riot!
It was I think, listened to it on a podcast , latest is they thought he might be buried in a park behind the hotel towards the airport. Very random. And the guy was a big fella iirc and went missing during the day.
