Meeting room in Dublin

We had a work event there a few years ago in the All Stars Suite. Anna Geary was there recording Ireland's fittest family, they were abseiling off the roof of the stadium.

As a "bonus", at the end of our work thing they announced that we were getting to do the 360 walk around the top of the stands, but I'm terrified of heights so I made myself scarce and ended up being on my own in the stands. Was a class feeling to have Croke Park to myself.

But then I couldn't get back into where the meeting rooms are and the exit gates were locked, so like an eejit I'd to phone Croke Park for someone to let me out.

At this point I was fairly fed up so I went to Ryans on Store Street for a pint, where they happened to have the FA Cup trophy on display, so I got a picture with that.

The work gang went to Searsons on Baggot Street for pints after they'd finished in Croke Park and my boss texted me asking where I was. I explained my fear of heights and he called me a "Jessie". Prick.

None of this really helps Matlock in finding a meeting a room tbf.
It’s settled then.

@Matlock you’re to have the meeting on the roof of Croke Park. Just make sure to let MOE out after.

I am looking for recommendations for a meeting space that I could rent in Dublin city centre.

Don't bitch at me about it being Dublin, that is beyond my control.

I need to rent it for one full day, a Saturday towards the end of the year. The space needs to be big enough to accommodate 20ish people.

It would be very useful if it could allow for zoom/teams access.

It would be useful, but not essential, if there was a kitchen/coffee making facility availability.

Don't have a massive budget for it.

Tell me things folks.
If this is for a nonprofit organisation check out the Carmichael Centre.

The Talbot Hotel in Stillorgan. We use it for absolutely everything, and they are very fair with prices.

It's also very handy if you're coming from Cork, and you avoid having to go into the city centre.

I used live across from it so I can show you the nightlife once the meeting has concluded. Bring lube.

I stay here regularly for work aswell, it’s a grand gaf.

Not city centre but not that far away either, also has a lash of parking which you don’t get in the city centre.

@Matlock
I’ve also used this one a few times and it has been great, they have loads of different sized rooms, not sure on the cost though, maybe worth a look

Jesus we really do share great taste, between the South County and the Talbot.

Loads of parking out the back.

I had dinner there the night of my Leaving Cert results.

Brass Bar in the hotel would have been my local pub when I lived in Dublin. The head barman in there recently went blind, during his shift. His sight is permanently gone now. Awful.
