Poor woman and poor kids, their dad, Ted Dunne (well known DJ) passed away around this time, three years ago.

This is a really terrible story, it was her best friend apparently.

Yes. Things like airbags, anti lock brakes, electronic stability programmes, bigger crumple zones have played a major part in reducing fatalities.

And seat belts! I’ve mentioned here before my father in law was asked if he wanted to pay extra for the optional extra set belts in the early 70’s.
