Its the same as every town in Ireland (cheaper but limited in some aspects).
Its good in the way that its not too far from most other places (Cork, 20 mins, Limerick 45 mins, Dublin/ Galway 2hours). Good natural facilities about (no, not the ones pointed out by Bin) with mountain biking, walks, fishing and a great GAA complex.
Going out is a bit of a hit and miss, but so is every other place these days. 1-2 great pubs, but as I said before, not too far from other places so you ain't stuck.
