didnt see ya in there eoin, did ya meet cian? that guitar solo was insane alright. crowd were well into it too. saw a guy in the toilet screaming pass the peas at the top of his lungs while kicking the wall. stupid carry on but its always good to see people getting enthusiastic about the funk! haha

apparently a bit tame.. good.. but lackin that dirty groove that would set it on fire..

 

[Naked Giant Attack]

Fantastic high energy gig...saw him in Melbourne two years ago and this one was better. Maceo is as lively as ever.

To be fair to Cork audiences they don't hold back for the funk. Brilliant atmosphere and weirdly a bunch of people started singing olé olé olé for an encore which caught on quickly. The band looked like they were really enjoying it too.

The sound was good too. The Savoy is a great venue for high energy bands when its very busy.

That was by far the most sick guitar solo I've heard.

Yeah he's great. Bruno Sreight is his name but Maceo always calls him Bruno Tattaglia after the crime boss in The Godfather.
