Panel chairman Dr Shoo Lee said in London today that his team of experts had detected a series of medical issues at the Countess of Chester Hospital after examining the Lucy Letby case.

Seems no one did.

None of the children were murdered.

Bad medical practice, poorly trained staff and children being placed in the incorrect medical facility.

Looks like the NHS needed a scapegoat as they couldn't admit they were to blame.

The extra toll they put on the parents. Grief is easier to process if it is a health issue. Having a child murdered would instill anger and hatred that would never abate

Her defence team at the trial seems to have particularly inept. It'll take the establishment some time yet to own up to what has happened here - a miscarriage of justice and perhaps, even worse, a stitch-up.

My friend is a paediatric consultant in the NHS, she's spent loads of time looking at this case, as you'd imagine.

She said 2 years ago that it's probably the NHS failure, or general incompetence on the ward, rather than a serial killer.

She's not usually a crackpot, and doesn't have any other interesting ideas about vaccines or jesus, etc.

Those poor families.
