Met my old man for coffee Saturday morning. He lives in on Fairhill.

"Rumour has it, amongst my walking group, that it's {Name Redacted} from Inniscarra Rd. won the lotto."

"Do you reckon it's true?" I asked.

"No, but he's not well-liked in the local area so I imagine it's just subtle encouragement for someone to break into the chap's house."

Great news. They are a lucky people, one of them won the US lottery last week and has been in touch with me since, for the same reason. We got the paperwork sorted in no time, he has already sent the money, but there's a delay on the Irish side, so it'll be another day or two.
