Still, you can drive somewhere warm.
1.4 engine is liable to oil leaks, so make sure to check it regularly. And get the cam belt changed as well.

Drove a 1.4 Fiesta Diesel for 9 years was 5 years old when I bought it great car barely any trouble.

The diesels are great. That model was before all the EGR valve and the other emission stuff.

Was out of my price range then when I was doing a FAS apprenticeship. My handle emerges from blowing hot air up one's ass.

Here here brother, a FAS apprenticeship is a valuable experience to a wise man and my utmost respect is directed towards you. A man that comes out of FAS is one who is battle hardened, and has the eye of a golden fox which will stand to them in their later endeavours.
