Liverpool V ManU Sunday

Im going- anyone else? Doesn't look like it'll be a thriller with both sides looking pedestrian of late- or maybe thats just the whole premiership..

i'm going and i honestly, for

want of a better expression, cant be holed with it.
the derby was boring, freezing, grey, city muniching during the minute of silence for one of corks greatest. The match was grim, no momentum, scholes trying to be all things to all people, ruud no pace and lazy in the second half, distin all over him but worse that that he looked like he wasnt even trying.
Ronaldo wont be back for weeks at least, he needs to be with his mother. I missed him more than i did giggs and keane (before they came on) on saturday and with ruud being a lazy fook, it was ronaldo that would hve made the difference.
Dont know what is going on with giggs and why he wont be played. when ronalso is missing?
anyway
liverpool
allergic
tired of it to be honest and while i wont be following my friends to FC united, I am really really tired of spending 50 to go to merseyside from manchester to watch a probably mediocre game of football.
Maybe its the all ireland thats done it, watching the fans in crokers all mixed in together no trouble, watching the fights in the first few minutes barely acknowlegded by the ref because passion is a given and accepted, the ref barely got involved throughout the game and thats why it was a pleasure. The dignity of the galway fans. the fact the lads played their hearts out like real men and not the play acting i watch week in week out.The gardai helping the fans onto the picth for a pitch invasion. The michael collins esque speech by sean og. I'll never see the likes of that at UTD. If roy ever did a speech like that i'd die happy.
I'm so fed up of it all, think my love affair with manchester is well and truly dead, and i'm better off out where i can watch them on tv and at least not feel cheated every weekend.
I've not done my best but i really cant be arsed

maybe sunday will change my mind
i hope so cause im realising this city has fook all for me besides football

lad?

i'm a girl, and the first year of living here was the best of my life, and its not about moving for football, its about moving to experience other ways of life

Sorry bout the lad thing.

When you said this I assumed you'd moved there for the football....

era i did and i didnt

i was just 23, was going over and back a bit and fancied it, so yeah i suppose i did for football but also because i had friends here from the match and wanted to live here for them. As far as i'm concerned if i have no mortgage or family to look after i can do something like that, priorities were to enjoy the match week in , week out and to do european aways from here which i did, and that three years ago was quality. Its just there is a bad vibe here at the moment with the division between the fans.
To be honest, I'm just having a rant cause i'm in a mood and being dramatic and whinging as i tend to be so ignore me

Anyway, on the match topic I'd be amazed if Liverpool did better than a draw. Looked anaemic going forward most of the time. Long range drives seem to the the only likely source of a goal.

Manchester United looked pedestraian against City for sure but have been okay to watch for the rest of the season. Impossible to call this game as it's virtually a derby but it should be a good un.

Liverpool have United, Arsenal and Chelsea all coming up. If they lose those 3 games their league campaign is virtually over before it even begins.

calm down calm down

ronaldo is already back from compassionate leave and is gone to spain with the team for villareal, roy has stayed at home.....
we'll beat the bindippers after all
