Phewwww

[Lee Bushwacker]

I enjoyed it
But it damaged me I think
I was into fighting after it,
And near killed a man ,
a bully , much older but still I wouldn’t have hurt him as much sober,
Knocked him out in the gilt edge pub,
3 days plus in a coma,
Not a thing I’m proud of
So I learned from it and gradually copped on,
Joined provisional SF & they certainly wouldn’t tolerate anyone fighting in pubs etc,
Different times

The Gilt Edge was a pub to be avoided. A very rough "clientele" used to frequent it. Apparently they used serve under age customers there no problem.
Provisional Sinn Fein didn't tolerate bar brawling but they did tolerate the murder of loads of innocent people. An obvious contradiction here in fairness.

[Pooman]

My husband jumped out of a plane today and he didn't die.

More than a little satisfying, in fairness!

I thought this would be in the "So near and yet so far" thread....
