Went back to the country I lived in for nearly 10 years 2 weeks ago. It wasn't a planned visit, and not the ideal circumstances for going, but it was a necessary trip.

There'd always been the lingering doubt that moving home was the right decision, but thankfully this trip but to bed any residual regrets I might have had about coming back.

It'll always be a special place, but it felt like I was being drip fed everything I ended up hating about living there over the course of my stay.

So, yeah, living in Cork is immensely satisfying.
