When things start to get on top of me i visit the local graveyard. I’ve friends and family buried there. I stop at the graves and take stock.

The worries seem trivial enough then.

Since Covid I've missed so many funerals I check rip.ie regularly. When I see the death of a young person or someone who is pre-deceased by one of their children it gives me perspective.

Going through rough times recently and visiting my mums/sisters/grandparents family grave does give me solace and perspectives of life’s challenges and struggles.
