On a more positive note I dropped my watch into Keanes jewellers this morning to be fixed, and it was ready by 2pm.

The absolute TALENT working in that place is off the charts.

At lunch yesterday the girls were very excited about a new supermarket opening. One of them said it was sad how excited she was about it.

I couldn’t help myself, I said, ‘Women love simple things… mops, hoovers etc.’

Cue instant uproar. Within seconds they were passionately debating which hoover’s best, cordless vs. plug-in, Dyson vs. Shark. I just sat there with another lad who said to me ‘well they’ve proved you wrong!’.

I felt a sense of pride. Might’ve set feminism back a few years, but I was absolutely, undeniably right.

I'll need to get one of the machines for at home. The cappuccinos, americanos and filter coffee are all grand out but expresso is terrible.
