All welcome!

Elaine Howley is a vocalist, producer and songwriter, working with drum machines, synths, tape sampling and vocal layers to create her own sonic world.
Elaine blends experimental and analogue processes with a love for classic songwriting and melody.
Howley’s distinct and transportive music has emerged out of collaboration, performance and exploration.
As a member of psychedelic rock group The Altered Hours, ambient pop trio Crevice and cinematic duo HowlBux, Elaine has recorded and toured extensively in Ireland, the UK and Europe while remaining rooted in the Irish music scene.
'The Distance Between Heart and Mouth' Howley’s debut solo album was released in 2022 on Touch Sensitive Records. The record saw a groundswell of support at home and internationally.
It was named a future classic by Boomkat, praised by Pitchfork and selected as Irish Music Magazine The Thin Air’s album of the year.
Following the album's release Elaine played shows at the ICA London, Dublin’s National Concert Hall & the Glucksman and Crawford galleries in her home city of Cork.
Elaine also recorded a session for BBC6 music, performed live on NTS radio and collaborated with the acclaimed Crash Ensemble and Composer Irene Buckley to arrange and perform a blend of music from her debut alongside new works.
In 2025 Elaine released the double A side ‘Hold Me In A New Way/ CD’s via record label Modern Love.
