Clonakilty is a kip.

For a place that goes on about Michael Collins, I can not think of a more British town in Ireland.

I'm down today and there's some freakshow with everyone dressed like it's the 1800s.

I actually hate the place like. Does anyone know anyone who actually lives in Clonakilty? It seems to be entirely populated by tourists, crusties, and Germans.

The Sugan is there but that's all wanky fine dining and the likes. The Courtyard does a toastie if I remember correctly.

Whenever those Russian ships off the coast decide to start firing, if they could start with Clon that would be much appreciated

Macroom is a hidden gem in county Cork, it has everything.

Admittedly some of the people are a bit strange but that's part of charm imho.

I've tried a lot of places in Clon for food but I'd say that the Imperial do a good roast and decent portions. The Sugan isn't bad but the rest is hit and miss.

Scannells and the Whale's Tail (Kirby's). The Imperial is ok for food.
