Leading producers of elite players in Europe's big 5

to clarify: Big 5 are La Liga, EPL, Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1

Players are considered 'elite' if they are in the first team of a club in one of these 5 leagues

Clubs are considered producers if the player has spent a minimum of 3 seasons at one of these 5 big leagues beween the age of 15 and 21 as this is the age a player aquires most of his attributes

really shows how poor is the EPL compared to continental Europe when it comes to finding youngsters and developping them

Not surprised to see United and Arsenal in the top 22 here

Not surprised to see Chelsea and City are missing from that list either for obvious reasons

Its a tad surprising that Spurs, Liverpool and Everton don't even make the table though

the rule banning kids from more than a certain distance from a club had a big effect.
