Landlord Priorities.

If someone has been renting an apartment for a good few years and 'they' needed a new mattress, who would it be up to to buy this? The one that's there is shagged and I don't know about broaching this subject as I've already got a lot of help from them so far with regards furniture and replacements. Is it taking the proverbial like to be asking for a new one, just something basic?

What can go wrong with a mattress? If a longstanding tenant, pay rent on time take care of the flat, don't cause problems to other tenants perhaps yes.
But lots of landlords are complete cunts
