South Korea - it's all kicking off
President declared martial law and the parliament said - eh no we don't think so.

The military says martial law needs to be overturned by the President.
"According to a translation of South Korea's constitution, the president must notify the National Assembly that he has proclaimed martial law. The legislature can then request for martial law to be lifted with a majority vote.
The constitution says the president "shall comply" with such a request, but how Yoon responds to the vote remains to be seen. "

Police and military personnel have been seen leaving the parliament building, after politicians voted to lift the martial law declaration.
National Assembly speaker Woo Won Shik has declared the martial law "invalid" and said politicians will "protect democracy with the people".
South Korean opposition leader Lee Jae-myung said his party's politicians will remain in the building's main hall until President Yoon Suk Yeol formally lifts his order.
