glanworth are nothing but thugs always have been always will beTalking to two Avondhu lads who obviously weren’t shouting for Glanworth the last day but said the referee gave Newmarket nothing and they were “neutrals”. The two young lads inside who destroyed Dromtarriffe apparently fouled throughout and ref gave them nothing.
They are worried now about Glanworth going all the way and will be quiet men Saturday if Carrignavar are beaten.
I said it a few weeks back Imokilly, Avondhu winners always the ones to beat.
I’d disagree. I’ve seen them play multiple times and they have been fine. Lot worse than them out there.glanworth are nothing but thugs always have been always will be
You couldn’t make it up. Fair enough if the u18’s were decoupled from playing adult hurling but to allow them play junior a, b or c and not higher grades makes no sense. The clubs and coaches know what level the player is able to play at whether it be the first, second, third or even fourth teamsThe clowns in the Pairc have made another brutal decision. What is the difference between a lad in his last year minor playing Junior an and premier junior? Ridiculous rule
It’s just stopping young lads from developing at a higher level. What brainbox came up with this like? Surely killeagh are hot favourites for the junior A next year. You couldn’t make it up. I think adult Junior hurling might be a bit tougher than that.. not many minors transition straight to adult level, no matter what adult grade it is.It’s just stopping young lads from developing at a higher level. You’re right in that yea. But what harm was in the system we had in place? Leave that be decided to their managers/coaches if they are ready for a higher level after some league games or if they need some time playing junior first. Doesn’t bode well for cork gaa also having our young lads playing junior A and below for a year.
