Spot on Trav, no flow to the game. Clon didn’t get going til the last 15 and when we played we were excellent. Lots of good young hurlers coming through, we’re playing up the grades underage. Won’t be long before we’re an intermediate club IMO.

Ahhh stop lad, Clon only have themselves to blame, first touch and use of the ball was way off the mark, silly short tippy tappy passing in the first half with the wind, two men inside and the on top of each other and the newcestown sweeper cleaning up breaks. 4 points in the first half and 13 wides compared to newcestown 1-7 in 2nd half with half the wides tells it's own story.

Was looking forward to a classic but chalk and cheese to last night's cracker on Barryroe. It's Ballinscarthys West cork to lose now.

Only for marks free ye would have lost by 5 Fox, 1st time seeing Clon all year hurling, way off the mark, Liam o Donovan played fierce well when introduced at HT, should have started him.
Yeve been on about intermediate with ten years, yell have to get out of carbery, the junior county and out of premier junior first.

We were missing 5 of our starting XV today, if we have those guys with LOD starting we’d have been out of sight at HT.

If we can keep this group together and can bring a few young hurlers through we’ll be intermediate within 5 years, mark my words.

Not our day today but Clon are the coming team in hurling.
