New year new thread.
Will post the Avondhu groups and results in my next post and will edit it to update as the rounds go on

Copying from previous thread. Some standout games in Avondhu this weekend.
Killavullen v Kilshannig: Expecting Killavullen to come out on top with their strong focus on hurling this year and Kilshannig prioritising the football, especially after their first win in senior ranks.
Glanworth v Ballyhooly: There will be nothing in this one and I could see it being a draw. Ballyhooly had a good league but Glanworth normally get it right for championship. The performance of Condon, as always, will be crucial.
LC Gaels v Buttevant: On paper league champs LC Gaels should win easily against the 2024 county junior B winners but with it being a local derby it could end up being a tighter affair

Carbery this weekend

DOM v St Oliver Plunkett's

St Mary's v Dohenys
Bal v Kilbrittain

Kilbree v Clon
St James v St Colums

Newcestown v Randal's

Will Keakill have much interest in hurling this year out of curiosity, they have should good young hurlers that have been around a while now

LC Gaels to top, Ballyhooly to edge second over Glanworth. By far the best group.

2
Killavullen will top it. I reckon Clyda will give more to hurling overall then Kilshannig, and just about edge it, similar to last year

3
Dromina to top, expect Charleville to come second, Shanballymore coach left in spring and age profile not in favour.
