Was there 'an executive decision' taken in Ballinhassig...
I don’t know; a lot of them were probably involved in 2 unsuccessful hurling teams last week and maybe that affected them but this was more a case of Kinsale playing well rather than Ballinhassig being poor.
Kinsale played way above the level of their semifinal performance - played hard , fast football and took some decent scores.
Ballinhassig found them hard to live with.
They now have Urhan in 2 weeks,

Kinsale not a bad team at all when they get it together. Beat Kilshannig and Gabriel Rangers in league games this year. Fair play to them for bouncing straight back up from Junior A, not an easy thing to do.

Easier thing to do then usual*
Correct. But looking at other clubs recently relegated from the grade (Grenagh, Youghal, Mayfield) they have done well to even win their division. The others haven’t come close to that since going down. Will be interesting to see how they fare against Urhan.

Amazing how the others have struggled since... gap mustn’t be as big as one would imagine
