Carbery board prioritized the football over the hurling as the original County deadline for the football was in early September compared to mid October for the County hurling...the Barryroe debacle shoved the football QF's back a week which effected the dual clubs...cant please everyone but I do think the board could maybe introduce more Friday evening games to help alleviate the pressure on dual clubs
There is no need!!! Just have a full set of Divisional club c'ship fixtures every weekend in conjunction with the alternating Co Board schedule!!!

That wasn’t a semi, wasn’t even a 1/4 I would say.

Well done to Ardfield. They’re a very solid if not all that impressive outfit. On current form, they’ll fancy a tilt at the county, they were unfortunate last time around to meet a strong Kilshannig team in the final.
Sorry James beat Argideen in the semi in '19 and Argideen beat them in the 3rd round in '20, a point either way. James won in the first round in '21 by two points.

Be an intriguing game between themselves and kilmurry. Think Argideen were taken back my the by the occasion and James broke there kick out. Also think that the black card killed any momentum the timoleague outfit started to build, James scored four points in that ten mins and the young lads lost the head trying to force scores.

Argideen as boomboom said have seven u21s and still have Jack Lawton and Philip Flynn to come back from injuries. Bar Paudie Butler Sunday, the rest of the starting team came through Ibane which as also starting to pay off for Barryroe.

Kissanes football is very hard to watch but throughout the championship Argideen were defensively sound and 2nd joint with scores conceded I think.

Was at the Carbery game, was expecting a game of very high quality. Argideen looked void of ideas going forward and St James hit them on the break time after time. St James are very well organised defensively, play to their strengths and could be dangerous in what looks a very open county.

The difference here being Barryroe having no member of the carbery board and a bandon man being secretary....
And when both Argideen and Barryroe players in the u21 grade had to play a championship match at 9.30am on a Sunday because a Newcestown man had to present medals the same day but luckily the Carbery chairperson was of the same club......

What’s the verdict for Ballinhassig v Kinsale this weekend?
Ballinhassig will be hard beaten. Kinsale just down from Intermediate but Hassig ran Boherbue very close last year and have pretty much the same team. Always seem to be able to grind it out when they have to. Kinsale are a good side though and with Coughlan and a few others will fancy it. Will be a close one but Id call it for Ballinhassig.

Would there be a big crossover between their footballs and intermediate hurlers?
