I didn't know anything about him until I heard him talking (on room to improve or one of those shows?) about setting up a house for the family of cf sufferers.
He was a judge on Dancing with the stars. Very flamboyant and hugely entertaining.
Never quite copped what was wrong with his voice but then he did the show about setting up the house for CF families.
A very decent man. The house I presume is now his legacy. Fair play.
