Josh Ritter has just been confirmed for a slot on Later…With Jools Holland which will broadcast at the end of this month just before he hits Ireland for his Christmas tour. This is on top of a confirmed slot on the Letterman Show in December.
Meanwhile Josh recently confirmed a 2nd Cork date (27 Nov) for his forthcoming Irish tour thanks to an exceptional demand for tickets. His Irish shows will be coming hot on the heels of a sold out US tour and a spread of UK dates. Special Guests for the Irish tour will be One Day International (except for the 2nd Cork date which will feature Mark Geary). Things kick off on 26 Nov in Cork and dates also take in Limerick, Tullamore, Galway, Ennis, Belfast, Dublin, Kilkenny and Waterford.
The new album The Historical Conquests Of Josh Ritter (Independent Records), went straight into the Irish Charts at No 4. The international reception to the album has been stupendous:
