I understand he's a very successful barrister. I think it goes beyond being booksmart tbh.

But he certainly needs some kind of filter if he doesn't know that carry-on was crass to say the least. For a guy well used to arguing a point he descended in his broadcast to puerile nonsense that you wouldn't hear behind a school bikeshed.
