How many Cork teams get a weekend away for Feile hurling
Roughly I'd say 4 get the chance
Again it's a fairly basic competitions based format but nowadays the parents more than the players make a weekend and social aspect of it.
Which is great and no issues with that at all. Here's the thing. Irish culture has changed dramatically and its only traditionalclubs will stay going and at the top .
Let's for instance pick 2 underage teams from say both localities that are doing well Harty wise.
Carrigtwohill nothing underage and many close to Midleton CBS and just picking that club as an example.
St Colmans Fermoy. Even Fermoy nothing underage and can't think of any team lighting the place up there.
So it's actually the school that promote and where kids learn to win and lose but important they play.
That's where the funds should go to save the game. Schools and places that have the youth to get involved.
Club's are struggling especially in more rural areas.
It's only just began IMO because kids are more obese than ever and can play Fifa unreal but we are a lazy nation that are getting worse and the stats and figures don't lie.

But just looking at Cork alone
Are there teams not playing each other from Premier 1, Premier 2 and Premier 2A

Oh sorry, I miss understood. Looking at the Ireland Feile draw it just says Cork1,Cork2 and Cork3. I assumed that relates to Premier 1, Premier 2 and Premier 2A winners.
